What Carefree and Cave Creek do to a window
Carefree and Cave Creek sit at the north edge of the Valley where the pavement runs out, and most of what lands on a window here is the desert itself. Many of the roads off Cave Creek Road and Spur Cross Road are unpaved or have dirt shoulders, so every passing truck lifts a cloud that settles on the nearest glass, and the homes around Black Mountain and up Tom Darlington Drive catch the wind off the open desert every afternoon. The Boulders was built into the granite with big panes looking out at the rock, and that glass faces the same dust. In monsoon season the haboobs arrive first out here, and the rain that follows leaves mud spots on every window in town.
Anthem, up Interstate 17 off Daisy Mountain Drive, is a different kind of neighborhood with the same problems. How do you clean windows on a dirt road without the dust coming right back?
We cannot stop the road, but we clean the tracks and screens along with the glass, which is where most of the dust collects, and we wet-wash so the grit floats off instead of scratching the pane. On a plan the film never gets thick enough to turn to mud in the monsoon, and the glass stays clear far longer than a one-time clean would.
Do you work inside The Boulders and Anthem Country Club?
Yes. We are set up for the gate procedures at both and work each community on a regular day. Add us to your gate list or give us the procedure when you book, and we send a text the morning of each visit so you know when the crew is coming.
Can you get the monsoon mud spots and sprinkler spots off?
Yes. Mud spots from the summer storms come off with a regular wet clean. Sprinkler spots are mineral and take longer, because the water out here is very hard and the sun bakes the calcium on. Point the spotted panes out on the quote form and we will assess them on the first visit and tell you what a dedicated treatment will remove.
