What Fountain Hills does to a window
Fountain Hills is built on the slopes east of the McDowell Mountains, around the lake and the fountain that give the town its name, and almost every house has a view of something: Four Peaks, Red Mountain, the McDowells or the fountain itself. The lots climb the hills off Palisades Boulevard, Fountain Hills Boulevard and Shea Boulevard, and the houses are stepped into the grade with tall glass on the view side and often a walkout below. The dust comes off McDowell Mountain Regional Park to the north and the open Fort McDowell land to the east on every windy afternoon, and the elevation means the haboobs in July and August hit the upper streets first.
The fairway communities carry the hard water problem. FireRock, Eagle Mountain and SunRidge Canyon are built around irrigated courses, and the sprinkler overspray hits the lower panes on the course side every morning from spring through September and leaves calcium spots that bake on in the heat. Pool-side glass and patio misters do the same thing around the pool. The spring bloom here is heavy, with palo verde, mesquite and ironwood all flowering in April and May and the brittlebush dusting everything yellow after a wet winter. Bird droppings under the eaves are constant, and the monsoon rain that follows each dust storm leaves mud spots across every view window in town.
A quarterly plan suits most Fountain Hills homes, with the inside glass done once a year and an exterior visit added after the monsoon. Homes on the fairways at FireRock, Eagle Mountain and SunRidge Canyon, and homes with misters or pool-side glass, do better every two months from May through September. The hillside houses have their tallest glass on the downhill side, two or three stories over a slope, and we clean it with water-fed poles from the ground or the patio and ladders only where the footing is safe. We know the gate procedures at FireRock and Eagle Mountain, start early in summer, and send a text the morning of each visit.

Fountain Hills window cleaning questions
How much does window cleaning cost in Fountain Hills?
First-clean pricing varies by home size and service package. A first cleaning, inside and out, is $259 for a home up to 2,000 square feet, $329 for 2,000 to 3,500 square feet, and $429 for larger homes on our Silver package. After that, a quarterly maintenance plan runs $60, $77, or $100 a month for those same home sizes. Hillside and estate homes get a custom quote.
Can you reach the downhill glass on a hillside home?
Yes. Most Fountain Hills homes have their biggest windows on the view side, two or three stories above a slope or a pool deck, and we clean them with water-fed poles and purified water from the ground or the patio and use ladders only where the footing is safe. Tell us the number of stories on the downhill side on the quote form so we bring the right poles.
Do you work inside FireRock, Eagle Mountain and SunRidge Canyon?
Yes. We are set up for the gate procedures at FireRock and Eagle Mountain and work SunRidge Canyon and Adero Canyon on the same regular day. Add us to your gate list or give us the procedure when you book, and we send a text the morning of each visit so you know when we are coming.
Will the fairway sprinkler spots come off the glass?
In most cases, yes. The water here is very hard, and sprinklers that hit the same course-side panes every morning leave calcium spots that a regular clean will not take off once they have baked on. Point them out on the quote form and we will assess them on the first visit and tell you what a dedicated mineral treatment will remove.
